· From celebrating 30 years of impact to reaching 300 millionbooks gifted worldwide, 2025 has been a transformative year for DollyParton’s Imagination Library. For Dolly, every book remains a gift of possibility—one inspired by her father and rooted in the belief that access to books can change a child’s life. DollyParton’s Imagination Library is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading by gifting books free of charge to children from birth to age five, through funding shared by DollyParton and local community partners in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia and Republic of Ireland. Inspired by her family, over the past three decades, the 78-year-old country music legend has made it her mission to improve literacy through her Imagination Library book giveaway program. · Based on a February 2025 analysis, the project has now delivered over 270 million books. The Imagination Library also works with local governments, libraries, and schools to implement its programming and reach as many children as possible. Today, as it stands, DollyParton’s initiative gives away over 2.4 million free, age-appropriate, and high-quality books each month to children all over the globe.
